Got the protective film applied and the ceramic coating.I made a mistake by ordering a film package that covers only a part of the hood. Don't make this mistake, the border line is visible on the clean car and very visible after the car is dusted or dirty.The guys repaired some chips free of charge. I don't know how the high quality chip repair should look like, maybe that's how it goes, but mine look awful. It's 100x more visible after the repair: the color, the texture, the gloss - everything is wrong. You can feel the chip repair by touch.The ceramic coating is great: the colour is deeper, the water is repelled from windows and panels. It's well worth it.My recomendation: do only full body parts with protective film, be careful with chips repair - it may look much worse then you expect, ceramic coating is fantastic, highly recommended it.

I had a terrible incident with a well known car wash and detailing franchise in the city that starts with a "B". A brush covered my entire car with swirls. The manager of that franchise refused to take responsibility (blamed touchless carwashes?) so I was forced to look elsewhere to have it fixed.I booked my car at Ming Shine South Edmonton. They were able to get me in within a couple days, and finished the work within the time they commited to. When I was shown my car, I was blown away with how good it looked, with not a single swirl or scratch. To top it off, they charged me LESS than what was originally quoted.My faith in customer service has been restored, and I will be bringing my other vehicles and referring everyone I can to Ming in the future. I had an amazing experience.Thank you!

Our very new car experienced a pretty significant door impact, causing dent damage to the metal door in multiple places. We did our diligence acquiring several quotes from different repair locations, taking our car to them for estimates. Ming Shine South provided an honest assessment of the service they could provide to us. They would be able to repair damage to the metal and retain the factory paint, however it would not be absolutely perfect. Other shops wanted to remove the factory paint, pull the dent from the outside, and do a large-scale repaint of the door and blend on surrounding panels. We elected to go with Ming Shine's approach.We were without the car for approximately four hours, service throughout the estimate and repair process was great. Ming Shine worked with our insurance. We dealt with Mike at reception and Kris as the technician. We think it is a very good repair. The sort of thing you would never notice unless the car is freshly clean, and you are told exactly where to look and what to look for. If you look carefully at certain angles you can see a little bit of extra rippling in the paint. This outcome is okay with us, it aligns with the expectations we were provided going in.The reality of more complex cosmetic damage like this is that the only way to actually repair it to factory specification is to put a new door skin on. But insurance isn't going to pay for that. No matter which way you repair it, there will be disturbance to the paint and metal of the car. This option (PDR) provided us with the lowest amount of disturbance, and a good cosmetic outcome. Exactly what we were looking for. We would most certainly go to Ming Shine South again.Photos of before and after are included.Edit: Something similar happened again in another parking lot recently, a crease dent in our door from another person's door along with some paint transfer. We made good on our promise in the initial review and went back to Ming Shine South. The repair was done rapidly and to a high degree of quality, we were without the car for only 1.5hrs. Once again there is a very subtle ripple in the reflection if you know exactly where to look closely and you find just the right angle. This is entirely acceptable for us, it looks great every day and we maintain the factory paint. I continue to recommend Ming Shine South and I am doubling down on my five star review a year later.

Just got full front PPF (including the windshield) and window tint done on my 2023 Tesla Model Y Performance. They did an amazing job. Very well done and the car was done on time. The windshield film had gone on sale ($50 off) from the day I got my quote a couple weeks ago. I didn't even have to mention it to them and they had already adjusted my price down $50. They also gave me a coupon for $200 off any detailing myself or a family's member wants done in the next 90 days! No hassle or fuss (pretty rare now). I'm totally impressed with everything I had done, the customer service and the honesty!

I brought my 2004 Mazda 6 in for the full premium detail package. I am very pleased with the interior and the beautiful polish job on the exterior with the ceramic coating! It looks like new!The only complaint I have is that the button inside the car and on my remote no longer work to open the trunk. When I called and spoke to the fellow at the desk he said there was really nothing they could have done that could have caused that. I took it to my Mazda dealer who said it's possible the engine power wash could have gotten into the fuse box (which he opened and showed me) and fried the electrical connection. Given the age of the car I'm okay with just using the key to unlock the trunk. It's barely an inconvenience but I mention this so give you a heads up about the engine power wash. All in all I had a very good experience.

Had a great experience getting a dent removed on my '21 BMW M340i. It was a minor dent but it was on the body line right above the wheel well. Auto body shops were quoting me between $1000-$1400 to get it repaired (rear quarter panel). I was advised they could get 80-85% of the dent out for less than half the price I was being quoted around. Although once I picked up my car, I couldn't see the dent and my friends who didn't know about the dent couldn't even tell any dent repair work was done. Really happy with their service, communication, and work. That dent is 100% gone! Thank you for your service guys and would definitely recommend
