Exceptional Honesty and Integrity

I brought my fairly new truck in for rustproofing and undercoating shortly after purchasing it. After inspecting the vehicle, the team informed me that the previous owner had already completed the service—and that I didn’t need it. They could have easily gone ahead with the job and charged me, but instead, they chose honesty over profit. That kind of integrity is rare and deeply appreciated. They’ve definitely earned a loyal customer in me.

The Southside team does incredible work! This is the third car I’ve brought to them, and every time the customer service and craftsmanship are outstanding. Their PPF, windshield protection, and tint work are phenomenal — top quality all around. Prices are very reasonable too. Huge thanks to Mike and his team for always delivering excellent results. On August 15, 2025 I had Ming Shine South Edmonton make a service call to my rural home under Kia's Smart Program. Eric the Technician arrived promptly at the time promised and very carefully went over my car. I was able to show him the areas I had concerns about as well. Eric was very thorough and professional in the care of fixing the small rock chips and paint scuffs, carefully buffing out the areas that needed attention. I'm actually a 40 year customer of Ming's as back in 1986 I had them put a clear and durable "Ming Shine" on my classic car, and it still is holding up to this day! Thank you again Eric for the great service! I am very picky about my car and Eric and Ming Shine definitely did not disappoint! You guys provide a great and professional service and I am thankful for your dedication and excellent customer service

They tinted my '96 Volvo's windows when another shop refused to work on the car because of its age. They even charged me over $100 less than the other shop originally quoted me. The staff are very friendly as well.

After researching several companies to install PPF on my vehicle last fall, I decided to go with Ming Shine South Edmonton. From getting a quote to booking an appointment and having the install completed, everything was quick and seamless. They offer highly competitive pricing. The team members are friendly, professional, courteous, and excel in the level of customer service they provide.

The workmanship was excellent, and I have not had any major issues over the past year except for very minor lifting of PPF behind two door handles (I had only noticed one issue, but the eagle-eyed technician spotted another potential issue and took immediate steps to remediate it).

I stopped by without an appointment this afternoon hoping that someone could take a quick look and to book an appointment for repair. I was extremely grateful that they were able to squeeze me into their schedule immediately which saved me from having to make another trip down. They stand behind their warranty 100% and replaced the two PPF without costing me a cent.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Ming Shine South Edmonton for the awesome work you do! I will definitely share the positive experience with my family and friends, and I will be bringing my future vehicles to you for any work that needs to be done!

I went in to get my car detailed, tinted, PPF'd, and front grille wrapped. It was all done quickly and professionally and they assured me that I can give them a call if I ever notice any bubbling or issues with the PPF. They're also quick to answer phone calls and answer my questions. While I did get cheaper quotes from home-run detailing services on fb marketplace, I recommend Ming Shine because of the reassurance that qualified people are working on your car.

One of the best experiences I've ever had at a business. I took my vehicle in to have a scratched area polished up. When taking the vehicle in, they were very clear that it would likely not be a 100% gone and they would do their best, and I was fine with that. At delivery, I felt it was a job well done and was just as promised. The scratch was noticeable from up close, but looked much better than before. Yet, they insisted that since they could not get it a 100% off, they wouldn't charge me at all! They made a customer for life. They put pride in their work above making money, even though they did what they had promised. Respect and I will definitely be back!

I was shocked when I picked up my 2015 F350. I truly thought that they had taken my licence plate and put it on a different vehicle. Holy cats, it looks so sharp, outside and in. These guys truly like to do the work they do and man it is good work. They had rock chips to work on, a tear in the upholstery (beautifully fixed), stuff under the seats I'm sure. You get what you pay for is a true statement. But moreso, with these guys you get everything they promise. High, high recommend.

I brought my Corvette to the guys at Ming Shine with some sort of paint overspray that I have no idea how it got on the car. As the car has the factory triple black paint finish I was more than reluctant to try and remove the overspray myself. I did try soap and water and some grime removing wax in a small spot with no luck so I knew I better seek some professional help and dropped the car at Ming Shine as they have worked on this vehicle in the past. Michael at the South location called the next day to say they were successful at removing the overspray and upon picking it up, I was totally blown away with their work as the finish on my Vette looked like new! I wouldn't hesitate to take any of my vehicles for detailing, waxing and paint protection. Job well done guys!
